DECORATIONS SAFETY

If you haven't done so already, we know many will begin to decorate for fall and Halloween. Please keep in mind a few safety tips in regards to decorations. These apply both to residential and businesses. - Dried flowers, cornstalks, hay bales, and crepe paper catch fire easily. Keep all decorations away from open flames and other heat sources like light bulbs, heaters, and vents. - Limit quantities of combustible vegetation such as hay bales and corn stalks. - Only listed electrical lights and wiring shall be used on natural or artificial combustible vegetation and other similar decorations. - Do not discard smoking materials such as cigarettes near combustible materials and decorations such as hay bales. - Remember to keep exits clear of decorations, so nothing blocks escape routes. - Make sure all smoke alarms in the home are in working conditions. If we can assist with any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to get in touch. Stay safe!
