TRAUMATIC INJURY

(CLICK FOR VIDEO) At 4:45 PM on July 6, 2024, our units responded mutual aid with St. Tammany Parish Fire Protection District #7 and Acadian Ambulance to Hwy 41 in Hickory for an individual who fell from a significant height. Due to the significance of the fall, a helicopter was requested. Our units assisted with establishing a landing zone at Poitevent Park. The patient was transferred to Ochsner Flight Care  and flown to a trauma center in New Orleans. Information on the patient's condition is not available.
