STRUCTURE FIRE

Just before 2 PM on Friday, December 17, 2021, St. Tammany Fire Protection District No. 11 responded to a structure fire on 7th St. in the Village of Guthrie. With the assistance from St. Tammany Fire Protection District #1, the fire was knocked down quickly, extinguished and placed under control. Unfortunately the home was already heavily damaged prior to our arrival and was a total loss. Fortunately, all occupants escaped with no injuries.

The American Red Cross was contacted to offer help to the family affected. No fire service personnel were injured during the fire attack.
