OVERTURNED TRAILER

At approximately 10:30 AM on Wednesday, July 9, 2015, our units responded to an incident on Hwy 1090 near Nelson Rd involving an overturned 18-wheeler that also involved a passenger vehicle. The 18-wheeler was transporting a load of scrap. The driver of the passenger vehicle was extricated from the vehicle and transported to a hospital on the northshore for evaluation. The driver of the 18-wheeler was not injured. Hwy 1090 was completely closed near Nelson Rd, between Jubilee Foods and the traffic circle for several hours until the scene could be cleaned up.

A-1 Wrecker Pearl River remove the wreckage and assisted with the clean up. Pearl River Police Department assisted with keeping traffic flowing away from the scene.
