NEW SERVICE 111

For a few days, Chief Dockery is in Florida completing the inspection of our brand new Service 111. This pumper tanker will replace the current Service 111 that has served us well for many years but is becoming aged. This apparatus will be at our station on Pine St. Ext. which serves the area of our district that has minimal fire hydrant coverage. In areas with minimal fire hydrant coverage we're required to bring our own water to fight fire. Our old Service 111 did just that and this new one will do the same . We'll provide more detailed statistics and information once we take delivery.
