MUTUAL AID STRUCTURE FIRE

Just after 7:15 PM on Sunday, January 3, 2021, St. Tammany Fire Protection District No. 11 responded mutual aid for St. Tammany Parish Fire Protection District #7 on a residential structure fire. The incident occurred on Honey Island Swamp Rd. off of I-59. Initial 9-1-1 calls indicated that the structure was already fully involved once it was discovered. Fortunately no one was at home at the time of the fire. Unfortunately the residence sustained severe damage. Our fire district provided manpower and water to support fire district 7 in extinguishing the fire. Agencies from around the Nicholson and Picayune, MS area also responded to assist.
