LIVE FIRE TRAINING

On Saturday, May 20, 2023, we conducted our last hands-on training with the recruit class. Along with the recruits, our paid personnel, and personnel from St. Tammany Fire Protection District No. 3 and St. Tammany Fire Protection District No. 7, we conducted evolutions on search and rescue as well as fire attack and ventilation. During the evolution, half of the group was doing search and rescue on the second floor of the burn tower while the other half was attacking the fire and practicing ventilation in the burn room.
