COLD STORAGE FIRE

(VIDEO & PHOTOS) Check out this video for a first-hand look at the response from our firefighters to a fire at Agile cold storage this morning.

Shortly after 2:30 AM, our crews responded to a report of a possible commercial structure fire at Agile Cold Storage. An alert guard noticed what appeared to be smoke coming from the top of the building and quickly called it in.

Upon arrival, our firefighters—alongside St. Tammany Fire Protection District #1 were directed to a mechanical room on the roof. There, we located a mechanical/electrical control box that was actively burning.

With the assistance of on-site staff, power to the unit was safely isolated, allowing our team to extinguish the fire using a dry chemical portable extinguisher.
