CHILD PASSENGER SAFETY

Did you know that according to Safe Kids Worldwide, road injuries are the leading cause of preventable deaths and injuries to children in the United States?

Another fact is that more than half of car seats are not used or installed correctly.

We now have personnel at our fire district that are nationally certified as Child Passenger Safety Technicians to further help keep our community safe. This training certifies that our technicians can help ensure our most precious cargo are properly restrained and to educate caregivers on the proper use and installation of child restraints.
