At around 1:30 PM on December 3, 2019, St. Tammany Fire Protection District No. 11 responded mutual aid with St. Tammany Parish Fire Protection District #7 off of Racehorse Rd. on a large field on fire. The fire at times was in danger of spreading to the woods, vehicles, structures including a barn and threatening cows. The fire was knocked down and placed under control.
