At 5:55PM on Wednesday, November 04, 2015, St. Tammany Fire Protection District No. 11 (Pearl River, LA) with mutual aid from St. Tammany Fire Protection District No. 1 (Slidell, LA) responded to a residential structure fire in the 65000 block of Ann St. in Pearl River, LA. When the first fire engine arrived on scene, smoke and flames were coming out of the single wide mobile home.

Initial reports as apparatus and personnel arrived on scene was that people were trapped within the residence. Firefighters immediately geared up and went into search and rescue mode. St. Tammany Fire Protection District 1 (Slidell, LA) arrived on the scene and immediately assisted with a search. While the search of the residence was being conducted, other firefighters began fighting the fire.

Once the primary search was complete it was determined that no one was inside of the home at the time of the fire. Shortly after, the homeowners arrived back home confirming that no one was in the residence. Firefighters then redirected their efforts on extinguishing the fire.

The fire was knocked down and placed under control within 50 minutes of the first fire engine arriving on the scene.
