TELECOMMUNICATORS WEEK

Special thanks and shout out to the men and women who play a big part in our line of work. This week has been dedicated to the dispatchers or the professional term, telecommunicators. These men and women are usually the first who receive the calls of people in need of emergency services. They have to react quickly to send the appropriate equipment, apparatus, people and sometimes notify other agencies to respond all while continuously monitoring radio traffic. The job they do is often under appreciated so we want to make sure they know that we not only need them but we appreciate the great work that they do. Thanks!
