LPG TRAINING

On Friday, March 14, 2014 personnel from St. Tammany Fire Protection District No. 11 and 7 participated in training conducted by LSU Fire and Emergency Training Institute. The training was on liquid patroleum gas fires. The first part of the day consisted of classroom training and then in the evening personnel participated in hands on training. A prop brought in by LSU was set on fire and personnel had to set up a shield, approach the fire and the flowing propane had to be shut off via a valve. Check out the video and photographs.
