At approximately 6:20pm on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 units and personnel from FD11 responded to the 64000 block of Nelson Rd. for a residential structure fire. Upon arrival, units found a single story structure with smoke and flames showing. Hoselines were immediately deployed and firefighters made a quick attack on the fire.
