VEHICLE FIRE

At approximately 2:21 PM on Sunday, May 22, 2022, St. Tammany Fire Protection District No. 11 responded to E. Riverside Loop (Boat launch at exit 5B) on a vehicle fire. Personnel and apparatus arrived on scene to find a pickup truck with the engine compartment heavily involved in fire. Two other pickup trucks parked nearby were exposures and obtained heat damage. We were able to quickly extinguish the fire and fortunately no one was injured.
