RESIDENTIAL STRUCTURE FIRE

Just after 2 PM on Monday, October 16, 2023, our units responded to a residential structure fire on Magnolia Ridge Loop in Pearl River. Upon arrival, we found a two-story structure with smoke showing. Our firefighters made entry and were able to extinguish a fire located in a bedroom. The situation was quickly placed under control.

Fortunately, the home was equipped with working smoke alarms. The homeowner discovered the fire and was able to alert another resident so that everyone including the family dog could safely evacuate.

The cause is still under investigation. No injuries were reported, and the remainder of the home received minimal smoke and water damage.
