HOSE TESTING & TRAINING

Hose testing, hose rolls and placing hose back on to the apparatus correctly are all skills that firefighters must know. Annual hose testing is also required to ensure that our hose is not damaged and is in a state of readiness to fight fires. Recruits were able to practice their skills and most of our annual hose testing is now complete. Any hose that fails the testing is immediately placed out of service and replaced with hose that is in good condition.
