EXTRICATION TRAINING

On, Wednesday, October 18, 2023, St Tammany Fire Protection District No. 11 and St. Tammany Parish Fire Protection District #7 got together to train on vehicle extrication. Our area of the parish is no stranger to extreme car crashes. Depending on the extent of the damage, we may need to use tools and equipment to safely remove victims from a damaged vehicle. We have a wide array of options for what tools we can use depending on the situation, but it is important that we refresh and train on our equipment and techniques.
