IMPROVED PIAL RATING

St. Tammany Fire Protection District No. 11, your fire district that protects the Town of Pearl River and the surrounding community has great news to report. We have received the results of the PIAL (Property Insurance Association of Louisiana) rating. Through hard work and dedication, we have been upgraded from a class 3 to a class 2! This classification is on a scale of 1-10, 1 being the best, 10 being the worse.

This new rating will be in effect beginning January 7, 2019. Letters will be available online as well as at our fire stations. You can present this letter to your insurance company and they can then adjust your rates should adjustments not happen automatically.

We couldn't end this announcement without a special thanks to all of our personnel. They have worked extremely hard in the years, months and days leading up to this rating. It is constant hard work and dedication outside of the day to day operations and emergency responses that have led us to this Improvement. THANK YOU!
