FIRE PREVENTION AND PUBLIC EDUCATION

On October 12th and 13th, St. Tammany Fire Protection District No. 11 visited Little Pearl Elementary for fire prevention week activities. We talked to roughly 115 students as well as teachers about the importance of fire safety. We also premiered our new inflatable fire safety house which was a big hit with the students. This inflatable fire safety house is the first of its kind in our area. Most departments have the traditional fire safety trailers. We have several more events planned this month and are excited about sharing great safety information.
