GET WELL TIM!

Update:

Tim was released from the Baton Rouge General burn unit on October 1st. He has since been recovering at his home. He will face several months of recovery with home health, physical therapy and outpatient procedures at the burn center. Since being back home, he has been very mobile and for the majority has been able to care for himself. He has always been in high spirits and will get through this. We ask for continued thoughts and prayers for Tim that he will make a speedy and healthy recovery.

On Friday, September 18, 2015 one of our very own was significantly injured as the result of a cooking incident. Operator / Paramedic Tim Grisaffi received burns on his body from a grease fire at his home and had to be transported via helicopter to the Baton Rouge General Burn Unit to get proper care and treatment for his injuries. He was breathing with the assistance of a breathing tube when transported and at the time was in pretty rough shape.

In just the short few days since the incident, Tim has made significant improvements. All though it will take some time for healing, the daily milestones have been tramendous! The prognosis from the doctors are very good looking ahead. We would like to thank everyone for their continued thoughts and prayers. Tim and his family are extremely grateful for the outpouring of love and support from everyone as well.

To assist Tim and his family with short term needs, we have started a Go Fund Me account and any and all donations are very much welcomed!
