SINGLE VEHICLE CRASH

At 1:35AM on Saturday, February 14, 2015 St. Tammany Fire Protection District No 11 responded to a single vehicle crash on Old Hwy 11 in the Wildlife Management Area. Personnel arrived on scene and found a pickup truck with severe damage to the front of it. One person was still inside of the vehicle but did not require extrication. That person was removed from the vehicle and transported to University hospital in New Orleans by Medic 112. Two other people in the vehicle declined further medical attention. The Pearl River Police and the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office was on scene and were handling the investigation. The outcome and condition of the patients is unknown to us at this time.
