FIRE MILLAGE RENEWAL

Please take a look at our flyer regarding our upcoming millage election. There has been some confusion as to what exactly this millage is for. The long and short of it is that you will not be paying any more than what you are. The bond that the previous money was going towards has been paid off and this millage will be redirected to support other essential needs for our fire protection district to thrive and improve services. Keep in mind, with the resources we have we were able to lower our insurance rating from a 4 to a 3 which for homeowner's and business owners has the potential to save you money. With additional improvements to services and equipment, this will help us to work towards lowering that rating even more essentially saving you more money in the future.
