Cooking is something that brings families and friends together, but did you know that cooking fires are the number one cause of home fires and injuries in the home? In the United States, over 173,000 fires a year involved cooking equipment. Thanksgiving is the leading day for home fires involving cooking equipment with more than three times the average number.
