SINGLE VEHICLE CRASH

Just after 6:20 PM on Monday, August 29, 2022 our units responded to Pine St. Ext. near Smith Rd. on a single vehicle crash. Units arrived to find one vehicle upside down in the roadway with the patient still inside. Ochsner Flight Care was requested to respond. A landing zone was established behind McDonald's where our ambulance would meet with the helicopter. The patient was safely removed from the vehicle and relocated to the landing zone via ambulance to transfer care to Ochsner Flight Care. The patient was transported to the trauma center in New Orleans via helicopter.
