HAIL STORM

On March 25, 2017, portions of our area received severe thunderstorms including gusty winds and large hail. We were no exception at our fire station on Hwy 3081 near McQeen Rd. Towards the end of the storm, the winds have subsided and the sun had even begun to come out. Then out of no where the sound of hail could be heard on the roof of the station and it progressively got louder as the hail size increased. Once safely able to do so, we were able to retrieve several hail stones that were the size of golf balls. Fortunately no reports of injuries or major damage was received.
