On Thursday, July 30, 2020 at 4:09 PM, St. Tammany Fire Protection District No. 11 along with Pearl River Police Department responded to a single vehicle accident on Hwy 3081 near Chevron. Upon arrival, one occupant was still in the vehicle and had to be assisted out. The occupant was transported to University Medical Center in New Orleans for further evaluation and treatment.

It's not uncommon during the summer for teenagers or even older siblings to take on a little responsibility and potentially earn a little money babysitting. Here is some safety information from our friends at the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA).
